The 3 Point Conversion College Football Top 50 Prospect Big Board

The season has come to an end and the final tallies are in for The 3 Point Conversion’s Top 50 Big Board. This collegiate season has been one for the ages as teams and player alike have been highly unpredictable.

We now head into the bowl season with all the expectations for the stars to shine.

Here are your Top 50 NFL prospects for the 2024 season pre-Championship Games.

 

1. Will Johnson – Cornerback, Michigan

HT: 6’2″   WT: 202lbs

2024 Stats: 14 Total Tackles – 12 Solo Tackles; 2 Interception; 3 Passes Defensed

Johnson suffered an injury that cut his 2024 campaign short but he is still the best prospect in the class. He is a “can’t miss” product that will raise the floor of any defense he is drafted to.

 

2. Ashton Jeanty – Halfback, Boise State

HT: 5’9″   WT: 215lbs

2024 Stats: 2,288 Rush Yards – 7.3 YPC; 102 Receiving Yards ; 29 Total Touchdowns

The best running back prospect we’ve seen in a decade just ran through college football like a hot knife through butter. Jeanty is a true dime-a-dozen prospect who is having a legendary run.

 

3. Sheduer Sanders – Quarterback, Colorado

HT: 6’2”   WT: 215lbs

2024 Stats: 3,926 Yards; 35 Touchdowns; 8 Interceptions; 168.8 Passer Rating

Sanders has proven to be the best passer in this draft class. He elevated his play in the second half of the season and has cemented his status thus far.

 

4. Cameron Ward – Quarterback, Miami

HT: 6’4″   WT: 205lbs

2024 Stats: 4,123 Yards; 36 Touchdowns; 7 Interceptions; 169.2 Passer Rating

Ward’s season was a revelation to many as he showed he can play with the big boys under the bright lights. He will now go into the bowl season as a potential Top-5 pick in the NFL Draft.

 

5. Mason Graham – Defensive Lineman, Michigan

HT: 6’3″   WT: 318lbs

2024 Stats: 46 Total Tackles; 24 Solo Tackles; 3.5 Sacks

Graham is the best interior defensive lineman and there hasn’t been a threat to his throne yet. Michigan’s season didn’t go as planned but Graham’s has been stellar.

 

6. Abdul Carter – Edge, Penn State

HT: 6’3″   WT: 259lbs

2024 Stats: 54 Total Tackles; 33 Solo Tackles; 10 Sacks

In true Penn State fashion, they pump out yet another defensive phenom. Abdul Carter had a surge that has shot his stardom to the top of the list at the edge rusher position.

 

7. Travis Hunter – Cornerback/Wide Receiver, Colorado

HT: 6’1″   WT: 185lbs

2024 Stats: 31 Total Tackles; 20 Solo Tackles; 4 Interceptions; 11 Passes Defensed; 92 Receptions; 1,152 Yards; 14 Touchdowns

Hunter is a unique talent that has shown out on both sides of the ball all season long. He now faces his biggest test, choosing a position to play for the rest of his football career.

 

8. James Pearce Jr.  – Edge, Tennessee

HT: 6’5″   WT: 242lbs

2024 Stats: 35 Total Tackles; 20 Solo Tackles; 7.5 Sacks

The second half of the season saw Pearce Jr. get back to his old form and make the impact we expected from the start the year. He is one of the best players in the class with one of the highest ceilings, a slam dunk first-round pick.

 

9. Kelvin Banks Jr. – Tackle, Texas

HT: 6’4″   WT: 324lbs

2024 Stats: 418 Pass Blocking Snaps; 1 Sack Allowed

Banks has been as solid as any offensive lineman in the draft class this season. His abilities have shined bright in the toughest conference in college football and has proven to be the best tackle this season.

 

10. Xavier Watts – Safety, Notre Dame

HT: 6’0″   WT: 203lbs

2024 Stats: 50 Total Tackles; 31 Solo Tackles; 5 Interceptions; 8 Passes Defensed

Watts was the best safety in the class this year and has shown why all season. His natural gifts are undeniable and he is still learning the nuances of the position.

 

11. Will Campbell – Tackle, LSU

HT: 6’6″   WT: 323lbs

2024 Stats: 557 Pass Blocking Snaps; 1 Sack Allowed

Campbell came into the season with lofty expectations and has lived up to them for the most part. He is one of the most well-rounded tackles to come out in a long time and should see his stock rise as we get closer to the draft.

 

12. Tetairoa McMillan – Wide Receiver, Arizona

HT: 6’5″   WT: 212lbs

2024 Stats: 84 Receptions; 1,319 Yards; 8 Touchdowns

McMillan is a difference maker at the wide receiver position and has gifts you can’t teach. He has solidified his status as the king of the position this season and should go very high in the draft.

 

13. Nic Scourton – Edge, Texas A&M

HT: 6’4″   WT: 285lbs

2024 Stats: 37 Total Tackles; 27 Solo Tackles; 5 Sacks

Scourton has the physical tools to play in a multitude of schemes. His body of work is solid and he has proven enough on the field to warrant a first round grade.

 

14. Luther Burden III – Wide Receiver, Missouri

HT: 5’11”   WT: 208lbs

2024 Stats: 61 Receptions; 676 Yards; 6 Touchdowns

Many will say that Burden III had a regression this season but the Missouri offense had an injury ravaged year that impacted his statistical output. He is still one of the best receivers in the class and will be drafted as such.

 

15. Deone Walker – Defensive Lineman, Kentucky

HT: 6’6″   WT: 348lbs

2024 Stats: 37 Total Tackles; 1.5 Sacks

Walker didn’t quite have the breakout season he had in 2023 but this season wasn’t terrible either. He is still one of the freakiest athletes at the defensive tackle position.

 

16. Jacobee Bryant – Cornerback, Kansas

HT: 6’0″   WT: 175lbs

2024 Stats: 37 Total Tackles; 26 Solo Tackles; 4 Interception; 7 Passes Defensed

Bryant has shown why putting him on an island is a safe bet this season. He has locked down opponents and is the second best cornerback in this class.

 

17. Harold Perkins Jr. – Linebacker, LSU

HT: 6’1″   WT: 220lbs

2024 Stats: 16 Total Tackles; 5 Solo Tackles; 0 Sacks; 0 Interceptions

Perkins is a stud whose season was cut short due to a knee injury. Even with that, he is the most intriguing prospect in the draft and a team may take him in hopes that his ceiling pans out.

 

18. Malaki Starks – Safety, Georgia

HT: 6’1″   WT: 205lbs

2024 Stats: 65 Total Tackles; 41 Solo Tackles; 1 Interception; 3 Passes Defensed

Starks has played as well as any player in the country despite the dip in production. He has all the makings of an instant stud at the NFL level.

 

19. Nick Emmanwori – Safety, South Carolina

HT: 6’3″   WT: 227lbs

2024 Stats: 83 Total Tackles; 54 Solo Tackles; 4 Interceptions; 2 Passes Defensed

The biggest surprise of the 2024 season is breakout stud Nick Emmanwori. He has been a game wrecker all season and has put his name in the pot as one of the best players in the entire class.

 

20. Jack Sawyer – Edge, Ohio State

HT: 6’5″   WT: 265lbs

2024 Stats: 46 Total Tackles; 20 Solo Tackles; 4.5 Sacks

This Ohio State Buckeye captain has been a consistent force all season. Sawyer will lead his team into the College Football Playoff in his final season.
