Flowery Branch, Ga – The Atlanta Falcons’ offense have seemed to find their groove within the last few weeks of the season.

For the first three weeks, we saw the Falcons come alive in spurts, but now, the offense has been clicking in every facet.

Since Week 5, the Falcons has averaged 29.7 points per game. That includes scoring over 30 points three out of the last four weeks.

What’s stood out about this offensive surge is that every group of the offense is producing in an impactful way.

The running backs have been the backbone of this offense as of late, averaging 127 yards per game within the last four weeks. Bijan Robinson understands it’s going to take more of a commitment to the offensive schemes to keep it up.

“It’s just our commitment to the schemes to what Zac [Robinson] has for us,” says Robinson. “Obviously, were trying to be the best offense in the NFL but for us, we all know that we have steps and we have processes that we take to become that.

“We just all trust in the plan and it’s been such a blessing to see where God’s taking us in this year. It’s been great to be able to all go out here and all of us produce and have fun with it.”

From a receiving stand point, all of the receivers, including tight end Kyle Pitts have been productive. We’ve seen each receiver be instrumental as of late and it was refreshing to see Pitts have a breakout game (four catches, 91 yards and two touchdowns) last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This offensive unit hasn’t been getting a lot of notoriety from the national media but quarterback Kirk Cousins is ok with that as long as the substance remain from the team.

“There’s a little bit of a substance that lacks flash almost,” stated Cousins. “The substance is there but it doesn’t have the flash. And that’s who I been my whole life, I bring the substance but lack flash. All I want is substance, flash is great but I want substance and a I do think think this team has a lot of guys who substance.”

Head coach Raheem Morris always mention that “stats are for losers” but what carries weight is production, whether it’s from the offensive line, wide receivers blocking or running backs running swing routes to clear the linebacker for the window of a slant.

The Falcons have been successful as of late and we should expect them to keep it up.
