College Football season is about to kickoff for the 2024-25 season. This class is loaded and should yield some of the best young talents for the next generation of NFL talents.

This Top 50 Draft Prospect Board highlights the future stars poised to make significant contributions to their teams. Whether you’re a scout, fan or analyst, this board provides essential insights into the next generation of elite players.

 

1. Will Johnson – CB, Michigan

HT: 6’2″   WT: 202lbs  

2023 Stats: 27 Total Tackles – 20 Solo Tackles – 4 Interceptions – 4 Passes Defended 

Johnson is the best defensive player in this draft with game changing ability. He has the opportunity to be a top three pick in this year’s draft.

 

2. James Pearce Jr.  – Edge, Tennessee

HT: 6’5″   WT: 242lbs  

2023 Stats: 27 Total Tackles – 18 Solo Tackles – 9.5 Sacks – 1 Interception

Pearce is a menace with otherworldly athleticism and a lightning quick first step. He is arguably the best front seven player in the entire class.

 

3. Luther Burden III – WR, Mizzou

HT: 5’11”   WT: 208lbs  

2023 Stats: 89 Receptions – 1,212 Yards – 9 Touchdowns

After a terrific year at Missouri, Burden III comes into the 2024 season touted as the best receiver in the class. His speed, big play ability and quickness are all coveted assets league wide.

 

4. Mason Graham – DL, Michigan 

HT: 6’3″   WT: 318lbs  

2023 Stats: 35 Total Tackles – 23 Solo Tackles – 3 Sacks 

Graham is coming off of an impressive 2023 campaign where he displayed elite run stopping ability. He will now be looked upon as the leader of one of the best interior line prospects in the class. 

 

5. Kelvin Banks Jr. – Tackle, Texas

HT: 6’4″   WT: 324lbs  

2023 Stats: 550 Pass Blocking Snaps – 1 Sack Allowed 

Banks Jr. was one of the best blindside protectors last season and enters the 2024 as a blue-chip tackle prospect. He leads the 2025 class as the best tackle in college football this season.

 

6. Xavier Watts – Safety, Notre Dame

HT: 5’11”   WT: 198lbs  

2023 Stats: 52 Total Tackles – 30 Solo Tackles – 7 Interceptions – 4 Passes Defended 

The safety position has taken a downturn in the league but players like Xavier Watts will usher in a resurgence. Watts would’ve been the best safety in last year’s class and that doesn’t change this year.

 

7. Travis Hunter – ATH, Colorado

HT: 6’1″   WT: 185lbs  

2023 Stats: 31 Total Tackles – 23 Solo Tackles – 3 Interceptions – 5 Passes Defended/57 Receptions – 721 Yards – 5 Touchdowns

Hunter plays both sides of the ball and is a modern-day iron man football player. The problem is that the league will want to see where he fits: elite receiver or a top flight cornerback?

 

8. Theo Wease Jr. – WR, Mizzou

HT: 6’2″   WT: 192lbs  

2023 Stats: 49 Receptions – 682 Yards – 6 Touchdowns 

Wease Jr. is a prototypical height-weight-speed specimen with elite big play traits. He is part of a electric Mizzou Tigers trio and should have a big year in 2024.

 

9. Will Campbell – Tackle, LSU

HT: 6’6″   WT: 325lbs  

2023 Stats: 491 Pass Blocking Snaps – 0 Sacks Allowed 

Heralded by many as the most complete tackle in the draft, Will Campbell is an elite tackle prospect in this year’s class. He will lead one of the best tackle duos this year for the LSU Tigers and should have a big year in the SEC.

 

10. Nic Scourton – Edge, Texas A&M

HT: 6’4″   WT: 280lbs  

2023 Stats: 50 Total Tackles – 33 Solo Tackles – 10 Sacks  

Scourton enters the 2024 season as one of the best pass rushers in the class. He will now take his talents to the SEC as he a member of the Texas A&M Aggies and look to wreak havoc on the college football.

 

11. Sheduer Sanders – QB, Colorado

HT: 6’2”   WT: 215lbs  

2023 Stats: 3,230 Yards – 27 Touchdowns – 3 Interceptions – 151.7 Passer Rating 

Sanders is arguably the best all-around quarterback in a very shallow 2025 class. With the Colorado Buffaloes moving over to the Big 12 this season, he should be able to grow his stock exponentially.

 

12. Quinn Ewers – QB, Texas

HT: 6’2″   WT: 210lbs  

2023 Stats: 3,479 Yards – 22 Touchdowns – 6 Interceptions – 158.6 Passer Rating 

Ewers could’ve been a first-round pick in 2024 but battled injuries that dimmed his star. He will now lead the Texas Longhorns into the SEC, showing scouts that he is the real deal.

 

13. Carson Beck – QB, Georgia

HT: 6’4″   WT: 220lbs  

2023 Stats: 3,941 Yards – 24 Touchdowns – 6 Interceptions – 167.9 Passer Rating 

After a solid season for the Georgia Bulldogs, Carson Beck now enters the season as one of the best quarterback prospects in the 2025 class. Leading the Bulldogs to the college football playoff would solidify his draft stock. 

 

14. Deone Walker – DL, Kentucky

HT: 6’6″   WT: 348lbs  

2023 Stats: 55 Total Tackles – 7.5 Sacks 

Walker is a massive athlete with elite traits as both a run defender and a pass rusher. He will be a highly touted prospect at the next level as teams look for versatile defenders along the front seven. 

 

15. Jacobee Bryant – CB, Kansas 

HT: 6’0″   WT: 175lbs  

2023 Stats: 32 Total Tackles – 30 Solo Tackles – 4 Interceptions – 5 Passes Defended  

Bryant is arguably the smoothest man coverage corner in the draft with a knack for coming down with the ball. He will look to have a big season for the Kansas Jayhawks, solidifying his place as an elite cornerback prospect.

 

16. Harold Perkins Jr. – LB, LSU

HT: 6’1″   WT: 225lbs  

2023 Stats: 74 Total Tackles – 43 Solo Tackles – 5.5 Sacks – 1 Interception 

Perkins Jr. has been one of the best defensive players in college football with tons of potential. If the can tap into that potential he could be one of the most sought after prospects in the draft.

 

17. Malaki Starks – Safety, Georgia

HT: 6’1″   WT: 205lbs  

2023 Stats: 52 Total Tackles – 31 Solo Tackles – 3 Interceptions – 7 Passes Defended 

Starks was arguably the second or third best safety prospect in the 2024 class and now enters this season as the clear-cut second best safety in the class. 

 

18. Tetairoa McMillan – WR, Arizona

HT: 6’5″   WT: 210lbs  

2023 Stats: 90 Receptions – 1,402 Yards – 10 Touchdowns 

There aren’t many players have had the type of season that McMillan had in 2023. He will now look to duplicate that success and cement his stock for the upcoming draft.

 

22. Jack Sawyer – Edge, Ohio State

HT: 6’5″   WT: 260lbs  

2023 Stats: 48 Total Tackles – 24 Solo Tackles – 6.5 Sacks

Sawyer has shown the versatility and tenacity that is indicative of a NFL-ready pass rusher. His leadership is an undervalued quality and he will have a chance to show it in 2024.

 

20. Evan Stewart – WR, Oregon

HT: 6’0″   WT: 174lbs  

2023 Stats: 38 Receptions – 514 Yards – 4 Touchdowns 

Speed is a killer at any level of football and Evan Stewart has it in bunches. He will now have a chance to show just how effective he is in this Oregon Ducks’ offense.
