Cleveland, Ohio – According to a source, wide receiver Dez Bryant has gained interest from several teams.
After a visit to Cleveland, Bryant was offered a contract by the Browns, a one-year $7 million deal that he has yet to accept. A fan recently asked Bryant why his real estate agent can’t “help” him get a contract. Bryant responded that he already had an offer.
Bryant will reportedly meet with the Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints. The New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys have some level of interest in him as well.
It’s been reported that the Patriots had no interest but sources say they have begun discussions with his camp. Patriots recently released wide receiver Kenny Britt which leaves them with Julian Edelman, and Chris Hogan as their starters.
Many believed that the breakup between Bryant and the Cowboys would eliminate any reconciliation between the two but a source close to the situation says there’s still a possibility that they can reunite.
Bryant said that he had a good visit in Cleveland which was featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks”. The episode showed him introducing himself to staff and telling Cleveland radio that they would try to get to get something (deal) done. At first Cleveland was the only team interested in Bryant but now he has more teams in the mix.
Dez Bryant is a three-time Pro Bowler and has 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns receiving for his career.
