Cleveland Browns and running back Nick Chubb have reached an agreement on a three-year, $36.6 million extension that includes $20 million guaranteed.
Chubb, a two-time Pro Bowler, was entering the final year of his rookie contract, which he was due to make $3.384 million this season.
He has rushed for 3,557 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per game (best among current running backs) for with 28 rushing touchdowns in his thee-year career.
The Browns have decisions to make coming up for cornerback Denzel Ward, quarterback Baker Mayfield and offensive lineman Wyatt Teller. They all are entering their final year of their contracts.
