The Washington Commanders took quarterback Jayden Daniels No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels didn’t show as much emotion as many hope for, which caused fans and media to wonder if he was happy with being picked by the Commanders.
Daniels stated that he was excited and “couldn’t put words into it.” He’s also ready to learn from the veterans and leaders of the team including Terry McLaurin.
The Commanders will start their rookie minicamp on May 10th and Daniels and all of the other first-year players will be able to get their first taste of the NFL life.
