NFL Power Rankings Week 13- The Evened Odds

The beginning of the NFL stretch run is finally upon us. The process of solidifying your spot in the postseason has been amped up to another level. Wins and losses now have a bigger significance and the level of competition will be raised.

 

1. Detroit Lions (10-1)

Detroit has three teams left on their schedule that currently have a winning record. Could they finish the season with just one loss?

 

2. Buffalo Bills (9-2)

The Bills are sitting pretty with a four game division lead, a win over conference leader Kansas City and only two games left against teams that currently have a winning record.

 

3. Kansas City Chiefs (10-1)

The Chiefs won another close game in the finals seconds on Sunday. It’s the eighth time this season they’ve played a game that came down to one score at the end.

 

4. Baltimore Ravens (8-4)

Baltimore got real physical up front against Los Angeles on Monday night, recording four sacks of Justin Herbert. The Ravens are third in the NFL with 39 total sacks this season.

 

5. Philadelphia Eagles (9-2)

The Eagles are white hot, ripping off seven wins in a row, but they received some bad news this week. Defensive end Brandon Graham will be out for the rest of the season with a triceps tear.

 

6. Minnesota Vikings (9-2)

No teams in the NFL will blitz more than the Vikings. They blitz on 37.3% of their defensive snaps. It’s no wonder they also lead the league in interceptions with 16.

 

7. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)

Pittsburgh had their five game winning streak snapped on Thursday night. They’ve turned the ball over six times in the last two weeks. Pittsburgh leads Baltimore by a half a game in the AFC North.

 

8. Green Bay Packers (8-3)

The Packers have won two in a row since their bye week and they’ve scored a total 58 points during that streak. They rank eighth in total points scored.

 

9. Houston Texans (7-5)

The Texans will kick themselves for losing the game against Tennessee. They still hold a two game division lead over the Colts, but thoughts of catching Kansas City for the number one seed are slowly slipping away.

 

10. Denver Broncos (7-5)

Denver leads the NFL with 44 sacks so far this season. They currently rank third in total points and total yards allowed.

 

11. Washington Commanders (7-5)

Washington has lost three in a row and they’ve given up an average of 29.3 points per game during that stretch. They now rank 18th in total points allowed.

 

12. s Los Angeles Chargers (7-4)

The Chargers allowed 30 points for the first time this season. They still lead the NFL in total points allowed, but they’re closer to the middle of the pack (13th) in total yards given up.

 

13. Seattle Seahawks (6-5)

The Seahawks have won two in a row with the defense serving as the catalyst. They’re allowing an average of 11.5 points per game during that streak.

 

14. Arizona Cardinals (6-5)

Arizona had their four game wining streak snapped with their lowest scoring output of the season. The defense is playing at a high level recently, allowing an average of 10.3 points per game in their last three contests.

 

15. Atlanta Falcons (6-5)

The Falcons are at the bottom of the NFL, with 10 total sacks so far this season. There are currently four players in the league with 10 or more sacks.

 

16. Miami Dolphins (5-6)

The Dolphins have won three games in a row and they’ve scored 30 or more points in their last two games. Tight end Jonnu Smith has 18 catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns during that streak.

 

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6)

The Buccaneers snapped a four game losing streak with a strong 30 point performance against New York. They rank fourth in total points scored.

 

18. San Francisco 49ers (5-6)

The 49ers are ranked 20th in total points allowed. They’ve lost two games in a row, allowing an average of 29.0 points per game.

 

19. Los Angeles Rams (5-6)

When the Rams have a tough time scoring, that’s usually when they lose. They average 17.0 points per game in their six losses.

 

20. Indianapolis Colts (5-7)

Michael Pittman Jr. now has 377 career receptions after grabbing six catches for 96 yards in Sunday. He’s now second on the list of most receptions by a Colts player in their first five seasons.

 

21. Dallas Cowboys (4-7)

Dallas has scored 107 points in their four wins. They’ve scored a total of 221 points for the entire season.

 

22. New Orleans Saints (4-7)

After their bye week, the Saints will host the Los Angeles Rams and then they travel to play the New York Giants.

 

23. Cincinnati Bengals (4-7)

The Bengals come off of their bye week to face division rival Pittsburgh at home and then Dallas on the road.

 

24. Chicago Bears (4-7)

Chicago has outscored their opponents 221-217 and they somehow still have a losing record. The Bears are 2-5 in one score games and are currently on a five game losing streak overall.

 

25. Tennessee Titans (3-8)

The Titans average 27.6 points per game in their victories. They average 14.8 points per game in their losses.

 

26. New York Jets (3-8)

Appearing on the Pat McAfee show, Aaron Rodgers said: “I haven’t told anybody in my life that I want to play in 2025 and not on the Jets, so that’s 100% false. ” Should the Jets want him back in 2025 is the real issue.

 

27. Carolina Panthers (3-8)

Bryce young had his best game of the season, throwing for 263 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, the Panthers had their two game win streak snapped.

 

28. Cleveland Browns (3-8)

Cleveland’s third win comes along with their second 20 point performance of the season. The Browns rank 30th in total points scored.

 

29. New England Patriots (3-9)

After their game this week against Indianapolis, the Patriots will go on their bye week and then every team they face in their last five games have a winning record.

 

30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8)

Head coach Doug Pederson said the team will make a decision later in the week about Trevor Lawrence’s availability against Houston. Lawrence has missed the last two games with a shoulder injury.

 

31. Las Vegas Raiders (2-9)

The Raiders have pushed their losing streak to seven games and they’re averaging 18.2 points per game during that stretch. Las Vegas ranks 26th in total points scored.

 

32. New York Giants (2-9)

After benching and subsequently releasing quarterback Daniel Jones for lack of offensive production, the Giants went out and scored seven points against Tampa Bay.
