Shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic has signed a four-year $72-million offer sheet from the Atlanta Hawks. The Sacramento Kings have 48 hours to match the offer.
Earlier this week, Bogdanovic was involved in a sign-and-trade that included Kings and the Milwaukee Bucks that fell through. The agreement in principle was allegedly made on Tuesday. That is now being investigated by the NBA which would have been three days before the permissible date on Friday.
Bogdanovic averaged 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 assist per game for the Kings in 2019-20. He’s entering his fourth season.
The Hawks also has agreed with Rajon Rondo, Danilo Gallinari and Kris Dunn.
