2025 Philadelphia Eagles Draft Profile

Team Needs: DL, CB, Edge, IOL

The reigning Super Bowl champions are the loaded Philadelphia Eagles. Howie Roseman has built a juggernaut and has done it organically through the draft.

Roseman and company will look to add to an already high-powered roster and continue their dominance in 2025.

Possible Targets

Tyler Booker – Guard, Alabama

Alfred Collins – Defensive Lineman, Texas

Jah Joyner – Edge, Minnesota

Roseman has been on record saying he has an “unhealthy obsession” with drafting offensive linemen. The trenches have been a strength of the Eagles for years now: after losing some of their pieces up front they could look to address it at the end of the first round.

One of the best interior offensive line prospects in the class is Alabama’s Tyler Booker. Booker is a violent and physically gifted guard with the mentality you want in a football player.

He was on record saying, “The thing I love most about football is taking the love away from other people.”

The Eagles appreciate that kind of physical play and Booker backs it up on the field. He carries his 6’5” 324 pounds very well, moving like a runaway train on the field. He is a mauler who erases opposing defenders from plays and stonewalls pass rushers at the line of scrimmage. Losing Mekhi Becton hurts, but they can definitely get a more than solid replacement at the bottom of the first round without missing a beat.

The defense was tenacious last season and part of that was their skilled depth in the front seven.  With Milton Williams leaving in free agency and Brandon Graham retiring, Philadelphia will need to target some young depth to reinforce their front.

One of the classes strongest positions is defensive tackle, and the Eagles could take one of the many gems of the group on day two. Alfred Collins is one of the best interior players in this class and fits the Eagles to a tee. Collins is strong as an ox, and has the wiggle to slip into gaps to create chaos in opposing backfields. He shows good versatility as well having played nose tackle, defensive end, and defensive tackle during his time at Texas. He may not be an instant one to one replacement for Williams, but he could develop into a steady starter at the NFL level.

Despite signing Azeez Ojulari, the team will still need to add to the edge rusher rotation and could  do so late in the draft.

Former Minnesota Golden Gopher Jah Joyner could be the target for Philadelphia on day three. Joyner has one of the most explosive first steps in the class and beats tackles into submission with his physical play. He has long arms and uses them to bat down passes and close space in run defense. Joyner is also a bigger edge, weighing in at 262lbs., which allows him to play up and down the defensive front to create mismatches. Being able to snatch a player like this up would be par for the course for the Eagles and help to keep their defense young and dangerous.

Philadelphia will be on the hunt to repeat as Super Bowl champions in 2025. Part of that journey will start with what they do in April at the NFL Draft. If they come out with a strong class, they could almost stamp themselves as odds on favorites before the season even starts.
