The Braves’ Offense Helps Them Win Their Sixth In A Row

Oakland, California – The batters of the Atlanta Braves ( 85-51) lead the way in their 10-9 win over the Oakland A’s (50-86).

Starting pitcher Kyle Wright gave up eight runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in 4.0 innings pitched. The Braves allowed only one hit after replacing Wright in the fifth inning.

Reliever Jesse Chavez (3-1) was credited with the win. Closer Kenley Janson recorded his 32nd save.

Vaughn Grissom went 4-5 with two RBI and a run scored.

Matt Olson hit a three-run home run in the top of the third inning and scored twice with a walk. It was Olson’s first time back in Oakland since joining the Braves.

Ronald Acuna Jr. and Dansby Swanson both went 2-5 with a double and two runs each. Marcell Ozuna had two hits and two RBI

The Braves finished with 13 hits overall.

Wednesday starting pitchers will be RHP Spencer Strider (9-4) for the Braves and LHP Ken Waldichuk (0-0) for the A’s.
