Say It With Your Chest- Fantasy Football Awww’s and Naw’s Week 13

Aww Quarterbacks

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams (away vs Arizona Cardinals) – Goff has been a fantasy bust and dropped in many leagues but he has a good matchup this weekend against the Cardinals. Here’s an interesting fact; The Cardinals have allowed nine of 11 quarterbacks this year to score at least 20 Fantasy points, including four in a row.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (home vs. Los Angeles Rams) – The Baltimore Ravens crushed the Rams defense last Monday night and even though Murray is not Lamar Jackson, he is still a good mobile quarterback who can make plays.

Naw Quarterbacks

Tom Brady, New England Patriots (away vs. Houston Texans) – This matchup against the Texans could be a breakout game for Brady but it’s hard taking this type of risk when he’s only averaged 12 fantasy points in his last three games

Aww Running Backs

Jonathan Williams, Indianapolis Colts (home vs. Tennessee Titans) – Williams was a beast last week against the Texans with 26 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown, along with three catches for 17 yards. What can he do for an encore?

Kenyon Drake, Arizona Cardinals (home vs. Los Angeles Rams) – The Rams defense have allowed a running back to score in three of their past four games, so I expect a good outing from Drake.

Naw Running Backs

Tevin Coleman, San Francisco 49ers (away vs. Baltimore Ravens) – In Coleman’s last four games, he has only averaged 29 yards rushing. This weekend, they are playing against the Ravens, who just held Todd Gurley to 18 total yards and no touchdowns in Week 12.

Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks (home vs. Minnesota Vikings) – Coach Pete Carroll stated last week that running back Rashaad Penny will start receiving more carries, which will cut into Carson’s production.

Aww Wide Receivers

Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals (home vs. New York Jets) – Boyd is calling for the ball more and came through last week. Now, he gets Andy Dalton throwing it to him again against a troubled Jets secondary.

DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins (away vs. Philadelphia Eagles) – Parker is quietly having a good fantasy season with eight straight games of double-digit fantasy points. Continue to start him with confidence.

Naw Wide Receivers

Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens (away vs. San Francisco 49ers) – Even though Brown had a good fantasy outing last weekend against the Rams, he is still too inconsistent.

Aww Tight Ends

Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts (home vs. Tennessee Titans) – With fellow tight end Eric Ebron on injured reserve, Doyle should get a boost of targets his way.

Naw Tight Ends

Vance McDonald, Pittsburgh Steelers (home vs. Cleveland Browns) – Last week against the Bengals, McDonald had one catch for one yard. He just doesn’t get enough looks to be consider a fantasy starter.

Aww Team Defense

Carolina Panthers (home vs. Washington Redskins) – The Panthers have been giving up a lot of points but you can take the risk against a rookie quarterback in a home game.

Naw Team Defense

San Francisco 49ers (away vs. Baltimore Ravens) – The way quarterback Lamar Jackson has been playing of late, I would not take a chance on the Niners defense this weekend.
