New York Jets have informed CB Darrelle Revis they intend to release him. Revis recently was charged with aggravated assault. The charges are currently pending and has yet to hear a definite ruling on the matter.
Revis for his career has 485 tackles 2 sacks and 29 interceptions. He was known as one of the top corners in the league (7 time pro bowler) and was called “Revis Island” due to his nickname for being able to shut down opposing receivers.
