- The Wonder Of Reality- NFL Power Rankings Week 9 - October 30, 2025
The NFL is exactly what you think it is. The problem is nobody has the same thought about what it is this year. Has the action been good, bad or ugly? Has the drama been high, low or uneven? What exactly do you think the NFL is?
Whatever you think it is, it’s probably that. And just like this ridiculous opening paragraph I just wrote, you really can’t make any sense of the NFL season.
1.
Indianapolis Colts (6-1)
The Colts average 33.1 points per game and they rank second in total yards from scrimmage. They have turned the ball over a total of four times, while forcing 11 total turnovers on defense.
2.
Detroit Lions (5-2)
If this was college football, the Lions would probably be ranked number one on this list. They’re undefeated when they score 20 or more points.
3.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2)
The Buccaneers two losses have come against teams that have a combined 10-4 record with a point differential of -21.
4.
Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)
The Eagles head into their bye week in first place of the NFC East with a two game lead. They’ve only turned the ball over three times this season.
5.
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)
Aaron Rodgers has 14 touchdown passes, which is tied for first in the AFC. The Jets probably could’ve used a quarterback that can complete a pass right now.
6.
San Francisco 49ers (5-2)
Mac Jones currently averages 280.8 yards per game and 10.8 yards per completion. The 49ers are 4-1 with him under center.
7.
Los Angeles Rams (5-2)
The Rams have given up a total of 10 points in their last two games. They currently rank second overall in total points allowed.
8.
Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)
The Chiefs have won two in a row, scoring a total of 61 points. They’ve given up an average of 8.5 points per game during that same stretch.
9.
New England Patriots (5-2)
The Patriots have pushed their win streak to four games. They average 25.8 points per game this season.
10.
Buffalo Bills (4-2)
Buffalo comes off of their bye week to face Carolina on the road and then their big showdown with Kansas City.
11.
Seattle Seahawks (5-2)
Seattle has won two in a row, scoring a total of 47 points. They rank fifth in total points scored and tenth in total yards from scrimmage.
12.
Denver Broncos (5-2)
The Broncos had the greatest comeback in regular season sports history. Sean Payton being forever petty somehow found a way to throw Russell Wilson (who wasn’t playing) under the bus.
13.
Los Angeles Chargers (4-3)
The Chargers average 17.3 points per game in their three losses. They average 24.7 points per game in their four wins.
14.
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3)
Travis Hunter had eight catches for 101 yards and one touchdown against the Rams. Liam Cohen needs to stop playing him on defense all together.
15.
Green Bay Packers (4-1-1)
The Packers have won two, in a row scoring 27 points in both of the games. As a matter of fact, the Packers have scored exactly 27 points in each of their four wins.
16.
Chicago Bears (4-2)
The Bears have win four in a row, averaging 26.7 points per game. They’ve forced 15 turnovers during that stretch.
17.
Carolina Panthers (4-3)
The Panthers have won three in a row and are now second in their division. The injury to Bryce Young could become a problem.
18.
Atlanta Falcons (3-3)
The Falcons do the best job of killing built up momentum. There’s no rhyme or reason for going away from what makes them successful.
19.
Washington Commanders (3-4)
Washington is riding a two game losing streak and they have turned the ball over five times combined in both games. They have a total of three turnovers in their other five games.
20.
Minnesota Vikings (3-3)
The Vikings have played in close games all season. They have outscored their opponents 145 – 125 on the season.
21.
Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)
The Bengals snapped a four game losing streak on the back of Joe Flacco’s great performance. Their next game is against the winless New York Jets.
22.
Dallas Cowboys (3-3-1)
The Cowboys remain undefeated when they score 30 points or more. They average 31.7 points per game.
23.
Houston Texans (2-4)
The Texans’ offense is in shambles. You could probably run a video of their highlights to circus clown music.
24.
New York Giants (2-5)
Giving up 33 points in the fourth quarter might be the wildest thing we’ve ever seen in football. When you consider it was a shoutout for three quarters before that it makes it much worse.
25.
Cleveland Browns (2-5)
The Browns had their highest point total of the season against the Dolphins with 31 points. They scored 36 points in their previous three games combined.
26.
Arizona Cardinals (2-5)
The Cardinals have lost five games games in a row heading into their bye week. The team won’t confirm when Kyler Murray will be back from injury.
27.
Las Vegas Raiders (2-5)
The Raiders have failed to score double digit points three times this season. They rank 31st in total points scored.
28.
Baltimore Ravens (1-5)
Coming off their bye week, the Ravens will host Chicago and then travel to Miami to face the Dolphins.
29.
Tennessee Titans (1-6)
Since their lone win of the season, the Titans have lost two games in a row. They’ve been outscored 51- 23 during that streak.
30.
New Orleans Saints (1-6)
The Saints have lost two games in a row, scoring a total of 33 points. They rank 27th in total points allowed.
31.
Miami Dolphins (1-6)
It’s hard to explain how bad the Miami Dolphins have been, but I’ll give it the ol’ college try. In their last game, they allowed 31 points, while gaining only 219 yards of total offense and turning the ball over four times. A literal recipe for disaster.
32.
New York Jets (0-7)
I’d like to ask Jets’ owner Woody Johnson how much better it looked last season with a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers?
