From Heisman hopefuls to under-the-radar risers, this list sets the stage for who to watch as the road to the draft begins.

1. Francis Mauigoa – Tackle, Miami (FL)
HT: 6’6″ WT: 315lbs
2024 Stats: 576 Pass Blocking Snaps – 1 Sack Allowed
Arguably the best tackle in football, Mauigoa will enter 2025 as an odds on favorite to win the Outland Trophy and be a top five pick in 2026.
2. Caleb Downs – Safety, Ohio State
HT: 6’0″ WT: 205lbs
2024 Stats: 81 Total Tackles – 48 Solo Tackles – 2 Interceptions – 6 Passes Defended
Downs is coming off of one of the best defensive seasons for any defensive back in the country. He should be even more dominant in year two for the Buckeyes.
3. Anthony Hill Jr. – Linebacker, Texas
HT: 6’3″ WT: 235lbs
2024 Stats: 113 Total Tackles – 59 Solo Tackles – 8 Sacks – 1 Interception
Hill Jr. was arguably the best linebacker in the country last year and will get a chance to assert his dominance even more in 2025.
4. Spencer Fano – Tackle, Utah
HT: 6’5″ WT: 304lbs
2024 Stats: 424 Pass Blocking Snaps – 1 Sack Allowed
One half of the best tackle duo in the country, Fano will enter the season competing to be the best personal protector in the draft.
5. T.J. Parker – Edge, Clemson
HT: 6’3″ WT: 265lbs
2024 Stats: 57 Total Tackles – 34 Solo Tackles – 11 Sacks
Parker is one of the freakiest athletes in the country and should be uber-productive after a strong 2024 campaign.
6. Makhi Hughes – Halfback, Oregon
HT: 5’11” WT: 210lbs
2024 Stats: 1,401 Rush Yards – 5.3 YPC – 176 Receiving Yards – 17 Total Touchdowns
Hughes was huge for the Tulane Green Wave last year and will now head to the Big 10 to play for the high-powered Oregon Ducks.
7. Caleb Lomu – Tackle, Utah
HT: 6’5″ WT: 295lbs
2024 Stats: 425 Pass Blocking Snaps – 2 Sacks Allowed
Lomu is the best natural left tackle in the class and will combine with his teammate Spencer Fano to make the best tackle duo in college football.
8. Matayo Uiagalelei – Edge, Oregon
HT: 6’5″ WT: 270lbs
2024 Stats: 38 Total Tackles – 24 Solo Tackles – 10.5 Sacks
Uiagalelei exploded last year for the Oregon Ducks and will look to cement his top billing this year.
9. Makai Lemon – Wide Receiver, USC
HT: 6’0″ WT: 203lbs
2024 Stats: 52 Receptions – 764 Yards – 3 Touchdowns
Lemon may be the most dynamic receiver in football this season and will be the lead man with Zachariah Branch transferring.
10. Jermod McCoy – Cornerback, Tennessee
HT: 6’0″ WT: 193lbs
2024 Stats: 44 Total Tackles – 26 Solo Tackles – 4 Interceptions – 7 Passes Defended
McCoy was part of one of the best defensive units last year and is the best cornerback in the country.
11. Amare Campbell – Linebacker, Penn State
HT: 6’5″ WT: 210lbs
2024 Stats: 76 Total Tackles – 45 Solo Tackles – 6.5 Sacks – 0 Interceptions
Campbell was a stud for the North Carolina Tarheels and will now join the linebacker factory of the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2025.
12. Cade Klubnik – Quarterback, Clemson
HT: 6’2″ WT: 210lbs
2024 Stats: 3,639 Yards – 36 Touchdowns – 6 Interceptions – 148.2 Passer Rating
Klubnik was a major player in the Clemson Tigers’ CFP berth. He will now look to take the team further and cement himself as the best quarterback prospect in 2025.
13. Jeremiyah Love – Halfback, Notre Dame
HT: 6’0″ WT: 206lbs
2024 Stats: 1,125 Rush Yards – 6.9 YPC – 237 Receiving Yards – 19 Total Touchdowns
Love went crazy in 2024 and was a major reason why the Notre Dame Fighting Irish got to the national championship game. He will now be completely healthy and look to explode in 2025.
14. Deontae Lawson – Linebacker, Alabama
HT: 6’2″ WT: 239lbs
2024 Stats: 76 Total Tackles – 36 Solo Tackles – 2 Sacks – 1 Interception
Lawson came on last season and drew the eyes of many NFL scouts. He should be even better in 2025.
15. Harold Perkins Jr. – Linebacker, LSU
HT: 6’2” WT: 225lbs
2024 Stats: 16 Total Tackles – 5 Solo Tackles – 0 Sacks – 0 Interceptions
Perkins Jr.’s season was cut short by injury in 2024, but he is still one of the most electric athletes in the game. He should be a star in 2025 for the LSU Tigers.
16. Garrett Nussmeier – Quarterback, LSU
HT: 6’2″ WT: 200lbs
2024 Stats: 4,052 Yards – 29 Touchdowns – 12 Interceptions – 142.7 Passer Rating
A darling of many scouts and pundits, Nussmeier will look to build on his already strong resume as a top prospect in 2025.
17. Jordyn Tyson – Wide Receiver, Arizona State
HT: 6’1″ WT: 195lbs
2024 Stats: 75 Receptions – 1,101 Yards – 10 Touchdowns
Tyson is a super reliable receiver and played a huge role in the Arizona State offense last year. With Cam Skattebo gone he should become the focal point and have a huge year.
18. Nicholas Singleton – Halfback, Penn State
HT: 6’0″ WT: 227lbs
2024 Stats: 1,099 Rush Yards – 6.4 YPC – 375 Receiving Yards – 17 Total Touchdowns
Singleton could’ve been one of the top receivers to come out last season but opted to come back to school. He will now look to help the Penn State Nittany Lions to a CFP berth in 2025.
19. Kamari Ramsey – Safety, USC
HT: 6’0″ WT: 204lbs
2024 Stats: 60 Total Tackles – 43 Solo Tackles – 1 Interception – 5 Passes Defended
Ramsey played well last year despite the team around him. He will now look to further improve his stock and put himself in the mix for best defensive back in the country.
20. Malik Muhammad – Cornerback, Texas
HT: 6’0″ WT: 190lbs
2024 Stats: 36 Total Tackles – 32 Solo Tackles – 0 Interceptions – 8 Passes Defended
Muhammad was one of the most versatile players in the country but was overshadowed by teammate Jahdae Barron. He will now get a chance to show himself approved in 2025.
