Markieff Morris and the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year deal to brink him back.
Morris signed with the Lakers last year and was a part of their NBA Championship run. The 10-year veteran averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
He joins Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as the free agents who played for the Lakers last year to resign with the team.
The Lakers have now signed notable free agents Morris, Pope, Wesley Matthews, Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell. They’ve also added point guard Dennis Schroder through a trade.
Los Angeles still have interest in resigning Anthony Davis to complete the puzzle. Although Davis hasn’t signed yet, Davis has mentioned that he will make his decision after Thanksgiving weekend.
