Free, Fast and Loose, Tennessee Titans Look To Change The Culture In Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee – The Tennessee Titans have kicked off their preseason program and are in full swing. Over the last two weeks, the team has made a myriad of moves and additions to the team, their changing the atmosphere around the facility.

Everything from fiery camp brawls to highlight plays have helped to build the new-look Titans culture.

One of the main parts of that is the coaching staff headed by Brian Callahan. Callahan, in his first season, has looked to foster a more relaxed and free environment for the players and staff.

The first year head coach believes that when players are in a comfortable environment, you will get better results.

“I want guys to feel like coming to work, it’s a place they enjoy coming to with people they enjoy working with,” stated Callahan. “I’ve always told these guys that guys that play loose and aggressive tend to play better. I want guys to play free and play fast, so that is probably a byproduct of that.”

After coming from a more strict and serious environment under head coach Mike Vrabel, it’s a possibility that a culture change is essential for this team.

The Titans could see much more success without the albatross that is added pressure from the coaching staff.
