- Michael Penix Jr. And Drake London Shine During Joint Practice Against The Titans - August 12, 2025
Flowery Branch, Ga – There was a theme during the Atlanta Falcons’ first joint practice against the Tennessee Titans… Michael Penix Jr. to Drake London.
The Falcons gave Penix plenty of reps against the Titans’ first-team defense during the first of two joint practices.
Penix started out 3-for-3 during the 11-on-11 drills with his first pass to London for a 11-yard gain off of a curl and then a 52-yard post pattern completion for a touchdown to Casey Washington. The fans that were in attendance gave off a loud roar.
Penix finished 9-of-12 during 11-11 drills with a touchdowns and 4-of-5 in the seven-on-seven drills with a touchdown to Bijan Robinson on a wheel route.
Titans players seem to notice the zip on the ball from Penix, including former Falcons defensive tackle Timmy Horne.
“Penix, the quarterback, he got a strong arm,” stated Horne. “He’s a real good guy. I haven’t had a chance to chop it up with him yet.”
London also stood out catching passes of 14, 20 and 21 yards, not including the first catch that was mentioned earlier.
He continued to get open across the middle, whether it was man-to-man or zone.
If this was any indication of what Falcons Fans should expect during the season, then “Rise Up” nation will be happy with the one-two punch they will see during 2025 and the beginning of 2026.
The Falcons will have their second joint practice against the Titans on tomorrow morning.
