The Atlanta Hawks got a little healthier today as guard Kris Dunn and forward/center Onyeka Okongwu started workouts with contact.
Okongwu has been dealing with inflammation on the sesamoid bone in his left foot. He’s begun participating in modified team practice with contact and getting closer to practicing with the team without restrictions. The rookie will be reevaluated on December 18th.
Dunn, who has been suffering from a cartilage disruption in his right knee, has begun participating in individual workouts with contact. His next step will be moving towards live team practice. He will be reviewed on December 28 and will miss the start of the regular season.
Guard Tony Snell is isolated from the team and hasn’t been looked at since November 30th. He’s dealing with inflammation on his cuboid bone in his right foot.
The Hawks will play their second preseason game of the season against the Orlando Magic on Sunday at 5:00 pm eastern at State Farm Arena,
