History was made on January 28th, 2018 at the Royal Rumble. For the first time, an all women’s royal rumble match was held. In a night where WWE saw the returns of Trish Stratus, Lita, Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool amongst other legendary women to have fought for the company, only one woman could be crowned the winner of the inaugural match. That women’s name, Asuka, who entered at 25th spot, last eliminated Nikki Bella for the win.

During the post match celebration when both RAW’s women’s champion ,Alexa Bliss and SmackDown’s women’s champion, Charlotte Flair were in the ring with WWE’s newest talent Auka. Then former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion,Ronda Rousey entered the ring ending the show with an uproar.
