NFL Power Rankings Week 13 – A Full View At The Top

With the NFL season now heading into the home stretch, the pressure has become extremely intense. By my count, there are around six or seven teams with a chance at playoff spot that don’t currently hold one. There are also a few divisions that are beating the stuffing out of each other for their title.

Even the lower teams are playing like there’s still a postseason in their future. Week 13 has an awkward feel to it, sort of like a Twilight Zone episode.

 

1. Philadelphia Eagles (10-1)
Philadelphia is the first team in the league to ten wins. If they become the first team to 11 wins they should definitely be considered the Super Bowl favorites.

 

2. Baltimore Ravens (9-3)
Baltimore has forced at least one turnover in 10 of their games played this season. They’ve forced multiple turnovers in six games.

 

3. San Francisco 49ers (8-3)
Christian McCaffrey has 1,328 yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns on the season. He’s definitely one of the top candidates for league MVP.

 

4. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3)
The Chiefs are winning games with defense this season and not their usually potent offense. They rank third in total points allowed and fourth in total yards allowed.

 

5. Miami Dolphins (8-3)
The Dolphins have won two in a row, outscoring their opponents 54-26. They’re now ranked seventh in total yards allowed.

 

6. Detroit Lions (8-3)
Maybe the Lions were too interested in Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday when they played Green Bay. Three lost fumbles by Jared Goff definitely wasn’t going to get the job done.

 

7. Dallas Cowboys (8-3)
Dallas has scored 40 or more points your times this season and their opponents have scored a combined 47 points in those games. The Cowboys are undefeated in those four games.

 

8. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3)
The Jaguars are 4-1 against the AFC South with one game left against a divisional opponent. They have a two game lead in the race for the division title.

 

9. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4)
The Steelers fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada and proceeded to gain a season high 421 yards from scrimmage against Cincinnati. They only scored 16 points, so I guess it’s still a work in progress.

 

10. Cleveland Browns (7-4)
When the Browns turn the ball over three or more times they are winless. They have the most turnovers (23) in the AFC.

 

11. Denver Broncos (6-5)
Don’t look now now, but the Broncos are hovering right around a playoff spot. There are only two teams left on their schedule that currently have a winning record.

 

12. Houston Texans (6-5)
Houston had their three game winning streak snapped in their loss to Jacksonville on Sunday. They at least stopped turning the ball over after having a total of eight in their previous four games.

 

13. Seattle Seahawks (6-5)
Seattle has dropped two games in a row and they’ve turned the ball over a combined three times during that stretch They’re averaging 78.0 rushing yards per game in those two games.

 

14. Indianapolis Colts (6-5)
The Colts are on a three game winning streak and they have forced a total of seven turnovers. They’ve given up an average of 13.0 points per game during that three game stretch.

 

15. Buffalo Bills (6-6)
You’ve seen all the numbers regarding Josh Allen and his struggles in overtime games. His struggles during the first four quarters of the games have been vastly underrated.

 

16. Minnesota Vikings (6-6)
Minnesota has now dropped two games in a row despite their impressive defense as of late. They’ve turned the ball over seven times during the losing streak.

 

17. Atlanta Falcons (5-6)
The Falcons are now in first place in the NFC South. I guess their fans should be happy, but with only five wins it’s not like they’ve knocked the other divisional teams out of contention.

 

18. Green Bay Packers (5-6)
Green Bay has won three out of their last four games. They have positioned themselves right outside of a playoff spot.

 

19. Los Angeles Rams (5-6)
The Rams are desperately fighting for a playoff spot in the NFC and they’ve made a big leap in their last two games. They’ve won two in a row and they’ve outscored their opponents 54-30.

 

20. Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
Cincinnati has lost three in a row and their upcoming schedule is just downright brutal. Their last six opponents all have a winning record.

 

21. Las Vegas Raiders (5-7)
The Raiders have lost two in a row and they’ve failed to score at least 20 points in five out of their last six games. They rank 26th in total points scored.

 

22. New Orleans Saints (5-6)
Derek Carr has thrown a total of 10 touchdowns so far this season. That’s really all I have to say: he’s played in all eleven games and he only has 10 touchdowns.

 

23. Tennessee Titans (4-7)
Derrick Henry’s two rushing touchdowns is the most he’s had in a single game this season. He has six total touchdowns this year.

 

24. Los Angeles Chargers (4-7)
The Chargers rank 20th in rushing, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. They’ve gone over 100 yards rushing in only four out of the 11 games they’ve played this season.

 

25. New York Giants (4-8)
The Giants have won two in a row heading into their bye week. They could win a few more games down the stretch, with three out of their five games against teams with a losing record.

 

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)
Baker Mayfield  is averaging 235.3 passing yards per game, with 17 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Buccaners will probably be looking for a new option at quarterback next season.

 

27. New York Jets (4-7)
The Jets benched Zach Wilson for Tim Boyle and it worked like a charm. He threw two interceptions and the Jets lost the game by three touchdowns. What a great move by the Jets coaching staff!

 

28. Chicago Bears (4-8)
Chicago had one of their best defensive performances of the season on Monday night. They allowed 242 yards from scrimmage and they forced four turnovers. They have forced a total of eight turnovers in their last two games.

 

29. Washington Commanders (4-8)
Washington has fired defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio after they surrendered 30 or more points for the seventh time this season. They play the Dolphins high powered offense this weekend.

 

30. Arizona Cardinals (2-10)
There’s really been no buzz around the Cardinals since Kyler Murray returned. In three games he’s 1-2 with two touchdown passes and three rushing touchdowns. The Cardinals are on track to have a top five draft picks.

 

31. New England Patriots (2-9)
The New England quarterback problem has gotten way out of hand at this point. Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe combined to throw for 143 yards and three interceptions against the New York Giants.

 

32. Carolina Panthers (1-10)
Frank Reich got fired after the Panthers became the first team with ten losses this season. General manager Scott Fitterer still has his job, despite trading away a ton of draft picks last year and not really hitting in free agency.
