Aww Quarterbacks

Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (home vs. Philadelphia Eagles) – To keep up with fast pace Philadelphia’s offense, Mattie Ice will need to throw. Their running game is still a bit uncertain, so expect great numbers from Ryan week 1.

Sam Bradford, Philadelphia Eagles (away vs. Atlanta Falcons) – He’s going against the worst ranked defense against the pass last season. Bradford is healthy and ready to play. He was great in the preseason and he seems ready to produce against the Falcons.

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys (home vs. New York Giants) – This game should go back and forth, which means great fantasy numbers from Romo and his gang.

Naw Quarterbacks

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers (away vs. Jacksonville Jaguars) – Outside of Greg Olsen, who will he trust to throw the ball to????

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks (away vs. St. Louis Rams) – The Rams always play Seattle tough at home and this looks to be a low scoring game, which will not benefit Wilson at all.

Aww Running Backs

Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals (away vs. Oakland Raiders) – Cincinnati will run the ball more, which makes Hill a great RB1 this week. Oakland’s defense improved a little from last year, but it won’t be enough to stop him.

Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers (away vs. Chicago Bears) – I expect to see a lot of carries from Lacy, especially if the Packers get a comfortable lead. The Bears defense is still a work in progress, but the Packers will go more run heavy till they ease their new receiving corps into things.

Chris Ivory, New York Jets (home vs. Cleveland Browns) – Great matchup vs the Browns, who allowed the most rushing yards in the league in 2014.

Naw Running Backs

Justin Forsett, Baltimore Ravens (away vs. Denver Broncos) – This will be Forsett’s first season as the #1 running back. Too bad he’ll be facing a Broncos defense who are good against the run.

Melvin Gordon, San Diego Chargers (home vs. Detriot Lions) – Gordon didn’t have a good preseason and now I’m hearing he won’t be out there on 3rd downs. He’s also facing a defense who was #1 against the run last year in Detroit. If you have other options, you have my blessings to choose another option.

Aww Wide Receivers

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons (home vs. Philadelphia Eagles) – This will be a shootout and I’m in love with his matchup vs. the Eagles.

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers (away vs. Chicago Bears) – A good matchup against a mediocre Bears secondary. Aaron Rodgers will look for him a lot in this game.

AJ Green, Cincinnati Bengals (away vs. Oakland Raiders) – He’s a bit underrated due to his injury last season, but he haas great chemistry with Andy Dalton and is productive when healthy.

Naw Wide Receivers

Torrey Smith, San Francisco 49ers (home vs. Minnesota Vikings) – A deep threat monster, who’s on a team that ranks fourth worst in deep throws last year. I’ll pass this week.

Sammy Watkins, Buffalo Bills (home vs. Indianapolis Colts) – I’m a bit worried because Tyrod Taylor is going to be under center. He never started a regular season game before and Watkins is lining up against a Colts defense that allowed the fifth least points in fantasy to wide receivers.

Aww Tight Ends

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers (away vs. Jacksonville Jaguars) – Cam Newton’s only trusty target. Start him with confidence.

Owen Daniels Denver Broncos (home vs. Baltimore Ravens) – I know he’s not Julius Thomas, but Peyton Manning will look for him pretty often enough to where he’s worth starting.

Naw Tight Ends

Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers (home vs. Minnesota Vikings) – Until we see Davis build a better rapport with Colin Kaepernick, continue to sit him.

San Diego Chargers TE (home vs. Detroit Lions) – Antonio Gates is suspended for 4 games and now Ladarius Green may be out with a concussion. Currently Green is questionable to play. Who’s going to start for them? I’ll wait for your answer.

Aww Team Defense

New York Jets (home vs. Cleveland Browns) – At home against the Cleveland Browns. Self-explanatory.

Carolina Panthers (away vs. Jacksonville Jaguars) – Great matchup against Jacksonville, who’s still a young team that makes mistakes.

Naw Team Defense

San Francisco 49ers (home vs. Minnesota Vikings) – Remember when they used to be one of the 1st defenses drafted??
