North Englewood, MD – The Washington Commanders (3-4) upset the Green Bay Packers (3-4), 23-21.
Quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who filled in for the inured Carson Wentz, was 20/33 for two touchdowns and an interception.
Bryan Robinson Jr. carried the ball 20 times for 73 yards with two catches for 13 yards. Antonio Gibson rushed for 59 yards and caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown.
Terry McLaurin had five catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Washington’s defense held the Green Bay Packers to 232 total yards. Arron Rodgers was 23/35 for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
The Commanders travel to Indianapolis next week to play the Colts (3-3-1).
