The undefeated San Francisco 49ers (6-0) played just as bad as the Washington Redskins (1-6) but still won 9-0.
On a rainy nasty day playing on a sloppy field, the Redskins home field advantage went out the door. With both teams affected by the weather, neither really could manage any type of offense.
The 49ers were able to get down to the red zone but wasn’t able to get in the end zone. Kicker Robbie Gould made three out of four field goal attempts.
A key fumble by Adrian Peterson halted an opportunity for the Redskins to take control of the game. Washington was never able to get anything going after that.
It will be a quick turnaround for the Redskins as they head to Minnesota to play the 5-2 Vikings on Thursday night.
