Ab Stanley

With some wild finishes and breathtaking plays, the NFL’s final stretch has not disappointed. Team after team will punch their ticket to the postseason in the coming weeks. Other teams will have an extended offseason, not eligible to play the extra set of games.

Which ever side these teams fall on, these last few weeks should be good.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (12-1)
The Chiefs had more turnovers versus the Dolphins than they did in their previous five games and they still managed to score 30 points.

2. Green Bay Packers (10-3)
Due to their week three victory over the Saints, Green Bay has now taken over first place in the NFC. They face one opponent with a winning record down the stretch.

3. Buffalo Bills (10-3)
The Bills have run their current win streak up to three games, allowing an average of 18.6 points per game during that stretch. Their magic number to clinch the AFC East is two.

4. New Orleans Saints (10-3)
The Saints lost their slight grip on the number one overall seed in the NFC. The loss to the Eagles snapped the longest winning streak in the NFC this season (nine games).

5. Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2)
The Steelers have clinched a playoff spot, despite their loss on Sunday. They’ve rushed for a total of 136.0 yards in their last three games.

6. Indianapolis Colts (9-4)
The Colts are on a two game win streak, scoring a total of 70 points. Their next opponent will be the Texans for their second matchup of the season.

7. Tennessee Titans (9-4)
Derrick Henry ran for 215 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday. It marks the second time this season he’s rushed for over 200 yards and the eighth time he’s hit triple digits in rush yards.

8.  Los Angeles Rams (9-4)
The Rams made it look easy versus Patriots, allowing their lowest point total of the season. The Rams have not allowed a 300 yard passer this season and it was the fifth time they’ve allowed under 200 passing yards in a game.

9. Seattle Seahawks (9-4)
The Seahawks have won three out four games, allowing an average of 65.3 rush yards in the victories.

10. Cleveland Browns (9-4)
Cleveland almost pulled out the win in an epic game versus the Ravens. They play the Giants and then the Jets, before a week 17 showdown versus the Steelers.

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-5)
Tampa Bay’s defense is ranked number one against the run. They’ve only allowed three teams to eclipse 100 yards on the ground.

12. Baltimore Ravens (8-5)
Baltimore is right on the cusp of the playoffs after their thrilling victory on Monday night. They finish the season with the Jaguars, Giants, and division rival Bengals.

13. Miami Dolphins (8-5)
Tua Tagovailoa has now thrown for nine touchdowns and only one interception. He had a career high 316 passing yards versus the Chiefs.

14. Arizona Cardinals (7-6)
The Cardinals snapped their three game losing streak by keeping the Giants under 200 total yards on Sunday. They also forced three turnovers, giving them a total of six since their last win.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (7-6)
Oakland has lost three out of their last four games and only one of those losses was a close game. They have 11 turnovers in those four games.

16. Washington Football Team (6-7)
Washington has pushed their winning streak to four games and have taken over first place in the NFC East. Washington has forced eight turnovers and has allowed 67.4 rush yards per game during that stretch.

17. Chicago Bears (6-7)
Chicago shut down their six game losing streak with an emphatic win over the Houston Texans. They still have a slim chance at making the playoffs.

18. Minnesota Vikings (6-7)
The Vikings’ slim playoff chances took a major hit with the loss to the Buccaneers. Dan Bailey missed three field goals and an extra point, leaving 10 points on the field.

19. New England Patriots (6-7)
The Patriots scored a grand total of three points in their loss versus the Rams, just a week after scoring 45 points in a victory. New England will conclude their up and down season versus the three other teams in their division.

20. Denver Broncos (5-8)
Drew Lock went 21-27 for 280 passing yards and four passing touchdowns on Sunday. It was probably his best passing day of the season.

21. New York Giants (5-8)
The Giants blew their lead in the NFC East with the loss to Arizona. They’ve fallen a full game behind with three games left to play.

22. San Francisco 49ers (5-8)
The 49ers have lost two out of their last three games. They have eight turnovers during that stretch.

23. Los Angeles Chargers (4-9)
The Chargers collected their fourth win of the season by actually pulling off some clutch plays at the end.

24. Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1)
Jalen Hurts finished his first NFL start with 167 passing and 106 rushing yards. All this while playing one of the hottest defenses in the league.

25. Detroit Lions (5-8)
Detroit has struggled to run the football all season, ranked 30th in the league. They have a total of 111 yards in their last two games combined.

26. Dallas Cowboys (4-9)
Dallas snapped a two game losing streak with their blowout win on Sunday. The Cowboys are 4-2 when they score 30 or more points in a game.

27. Carolina Panthers (4-9)
Teddy Bridgewater is completing a staggering 70.7% of his passes. He’s averaging 258.5 pass yards a game with 14 passing touchdowns. Pretty good numbers despite playing for an offense that doesn’t score that many points.

28. Atlanta Falcons (4-9)
The Falcons have now lost three out of four games and the offseason questions should start to get answered in the coming weeks. Who will be their general manager, who will they hire to be their head coach, and what will they do with aging veterans?

29. Houston Texans (4-9)
Deshaun Watson is averaging 289.3 passing yards per game. He has 25 touchdowns and only six interceptions. A great season wasted by a myriad of circumstances.

30. Cincinnati Bengals (2-10-1)
The Bengals have battled injuries week after week. They have not won a game since the week before their bye (week eight).

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-12)
Gardner Minshew will return to the starting lineup in week 15. I would say that bid for the second overall pick is in jeopardy, but it’s not.

32. New York Jets (0-13)
The Jets hard luck season can’t finish soon enough. Adam Gase is now 7-22 in two years as the Jets’ head coach.
