The Toronto Raptors received balanced scoring from a trio of players, including Delon Wright who chipped in with 15 points in a convincing 101-86 victory vs. the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon at the Air Canada Centre.
The Raptors had six players in double figures. DeMar DeRozan and Fred Vanfleet contributed with 13 points each as the Raptors broke the game wide open in the fourth quarter. It was the Raptors fifth straight win vs. the Grizzlies who have been slumping as of late, due in part to many injuries.
The Raptors also dominated the Grizzlies in bench points outscoring them 52-19. With the victory, the Raptors improved to 21-4 at home, the best record in the NBA.
For the slumping Grizzlies who have lost six games in a row, Marc Gasol scored 20 points and Andrew Harrison chipped in with 16 points.
The Grizzlies shot a horrific 3-22 in the fourth quarter as most of its points came at the free throw line.
The Raptors were horrible from behind the arch in the first three quarters going 6-35, their lowest output of the season.
